A combination of two unrelated moments prompted my video blog this week. The first was the culmination of the Olympics in Tokyo and the discussion around an athlete’s right to choose their mental health over achievement in their chosen sport. Significant leadership requires you to take care of yourself. It’s not selfish or self-serving. It is absolutely essential. Taking care of yourself allows you to continue leading others.
The second moment was receiving edited snippets from an interview I did this Spring and a moment that (frankly) caught me off guard… I thought I would share it with you.
